Enefit partners with Kehtna rural municipality for a major street lighting upgrade
Enefit and Kehtna rural municipality have signed a 10-year full-service agreement under which the entire existing street lighting network will be upgraded. A total of 1,160 new, modern LED luminaires will be installed across the municipality, operating on an energy-saving dimming schedule.

Eesti Energia started providing a manual Frequency Restoration Reserve (mFRR) to the continental European frequency control platform
On 9 October, Eesti Energia started providing a manual Frequency Restoration Reserve to the MARI (Manually Activated Reserves Initiative) energy market platform. Through the system operator Elering, balancing bids will now be forwarded to the pan-European platform. This is a significant step that will help to ensure the functioning of the Baltic electricity system after BRELL has been disconnected from the electricity network.

Energy market overview: favourable weather conditions hold back electricity price rises at the start of the heating season
While the beginning of autumn felt very much like summer, it is naive to expect this to last. Long-term meteorological forecasts suggest that in October, air temperatures will be up to 0.5°C above average, with precipitation levels up to 5% higher than the long-term norm. It is highly likely that autumn will start behaving more like itself. In the coming months, conditions in the wholesale electricity market will be strongly influenced by renewable generation as well as the global geopolitical situation.
