Eesti Energia guarantees the provision of all services during the state of emergency

Regardless of the state of emergency established in the country, Eesti Energia ensures to the customers the provision of vital services such as electricity and heat supply as well as the provision of all other services.

Today, the organization of work in the companies of Eesti Energia has been adjusted in order to comply with the state of emergency in the country and the necessary precautions will be taken to prevent the spread of the virus. We will allow teleworking for the employees whose nature of work does not require them to be physically present at their workplace. Whenever possible, we will use modern communication tools to hold meetings necessary for the operation of the organization. Events, larger gatherings, business travels abroad have been canceled or postponed. All excursions and reception for visitors in the Group’s companies have been suspended. We will try to prevent gatherings of more than 10 people. Eesti Energia will ask all subcontractors for confirmation of compliance with the requirements of the state of emergency regulations established by the Government of the Republic of Estonia. The Eesti Energia Crisis Committee is monitoring the development of this situation and, if necessary, will adjust the organization of work.

People have been informed of the Health Board's recommendations for maintaining hygiene and preventing the spread of the virus. Workers with symptoms of illness will be sent home. We are creating the capacity of accelerated health screening for employees in critical positions.

In each production unit, as well as in each customer service, we have developed an action plan to prevent the spread of the virus that takes into account different scenarios, provides behavioral guidance and clarifies the organization of work. We have mapped critical jobs. Each Critical Service Provider in the Group has its own business continuity risk analysis and plans prepared in accordance with the requirements of the State of Emergency Act.

The customer service of Eesti Energia will continue as usual. On weekdays from 8 am to 6 pm, clients are assisted by the Counseling Center, phone 777 1545 or . The simplest way to execute energy related operations is via the Eesti Energia website or in e-service. Electricians at Eesti Energia will continue to eliminate domestic electrical failures.
