Chairman of Supervisory Council to resign

The Chairman of the Supervisory Council of Eesti Energia, Mr Erkki Raasuke, has informed the company's Management Board that he intends to stand down from his current position as Chairman and Member of the Supervisory Council of Eesti Energia. Mr Raasuke will take on a new position in the financial sector, which prevents him from fulfilling any management duties in another company.

The precise time of the change in the composition of the Supervisory Council has not yet been decided but is expected to take place before the end of 2016. Mr Raasuke will continue carrying out his responsibilities as the Chairman of the Supervisory Council until the change is formally approved by the Shareholder of Eesti Energia. Any such formal resolution or appointment of new members to the Supervisory Council will be announced through RNS in due course.
