About the installation of the air conditioner
All air conditioners are sold with installation, the price of which depends on the specifics of the object. Both the outdoor and the indoor unit are installed.
① Outdoor unit
The outdoor unit of the air conditioner is installed outside the building, in an open-air location. Thereby, the device can take cooling energy from the outside air and pump it into the indoor units of the building, with the help of a special refrigerant.
② Indoor unit
The indoor unit of the air conditioner is installed on the wall and blows the stored cool air into the room using a ventilation fan. The indoor unit is installed under the ceiling, but not higher than 2.5 m from the floor.
In the standard installation of the air conditioner units, the distance between the indoor and outdoor units is up to 5 m.
The further the units are from each other, the more expensive the installation will be, because the plumbing, along with the cover, must be extended and additional gas must be added.
Since the pipes are routed along the wall or on the ceiling, the distance should be measured along the walls and not in a straight line between the units. The maximum distance between the indoor and outdoor units should not exceed 15 m.
Cooling causes condensation to collect inside the indoor unit. Condensation must be:
- discharged to the outdoor unit installed below;
- channelled; and
- discharged by means of a condensate pump if there is no natural slope.

What to do if there are several rooms to be cooled or if the area to be cooled is larger than 60 m2?
For an area larger than 60 m², you can use a Samsung Multi Device with several indoor units and one external unit. This means that all rooms will have the cooling function, and only one device will be visible outside the building.
