Eesti Energia’s EUR 125m equity increase

The sole shareholder of Eesti Energia, the Republic of Estonia, has given a mandate on 27 March 2020 to the Extraordinary General Meeting of Eesti Energia to pass the resolution by which the share capital of the company will be increased by 125 million euros. The share capital increase is expected to take place in Q1 2020. Eesti Energia will make a separate exchange announcement after the share capital increase has been made.

The company's share capital increases from 621.6 million euros to 746.6 million euros through issue of 125 million new shares with nominal value of 1 euro to the sole shareholder, the Republic of Estonia. The proceeds will be used to finance the company's capex program into the new shale oil plant.
