Entry into the Polish renewable energy market
Enefit Green, a fully owned subsidiary of Eesti Energia, signs share purchase agreement to acquire solar parks in Poland.
On 18 June 2019 Enefit Green AS, a fully owned subsidiary of Eesti Energia AS, signed an agreement to acquire 20 solar park projects in Poland from GEO Group’s subsidiaries. The total capacity of the solar power plants to be acquired is 19,15 MW. Enefit Green's investment amounts to 17,3 million euros. The acquisition is part of Eesti Energia’s strategy to increase the renewable energy production portfolio in the Baltic Sea region.
